Our Cubby Broccoli and IMAX cinemas are currently closed as we begin to transform the museum through our Sound and Vision project. Our Pictureville screen and bar are open seven days a week.

Ticket prices may vary for non-standard screenings and special events, for example event cinema (theatre, ballet, opera and concerts) and festival screenings.
Membership is available to adults over the age of 18.

Family visits
Kids’ Club screenings are open to all families with children, but are particularly aimed at families with children under 12. Baby’s Day Out screenings are open to families with babies under the age of one. Unaccompanied adults will not be admitted.
Our Level 0 accessible toilet has a small Sturdy Station changing table. This toilet is located just outside the main entrance to IMAX.
There is a buggy parking area in the Life Online gallery on Level 0.
Booster seats are available in all our cinemas. Ask a member of staff if you would like to use one.
The National Science and Media Museum supports the Breastfeeding Welcome scheme.
